Chrome OS and WinRT

I still don't get WinRT or the new windows applications. If I really wanted to go back 20 years where I could run one application at a time I would use an iPad instead. This whole paradigm shift brings me to Chrome OS which works fine on ARM architecture and since most of the applications are just web applications I really don't see any difference from the WinRT applications.

Maybe in a year or two I might have to eat my own words but at this point of time I don't see WinRT going anywhere. If WinRT does work out it will surely push Chrome OS adoption as well. Its cheaper and lighter than WinRT.

Call  *321*671# to activate the service on your phone. It will ask you for permission if you want to enable it. Airtel 16Mbps for Impatient Ones

This advert can be the summed as the best in terms of making fun of the impatient ones. The new Airtel broadband is 16 Mbps but with a slight hitch. At Rs. 2999/- with a Data Transfer Limit of just 20 GB. Just listening to a few hours of music videos on Youtube should be enough to exhaust the limit in no time. Thinking of downloading torrents is something one should not even think about. Not sure who Airtel is targeting with this plan. If you bought this plan do leave a comment.
